Hot Stone Massage is a specialty massage that uses smooth, heated stones with higher iron contents that absorb and retain heat well. The hot stones are carefully moved over the skin so that the direct heat can help relax tense muscles and the body can unwind while receiving a deeper therapeutic effect. These particular stones have been hand pick selected from the desert mesa lands of the Enchanted State of New Mexico and our serene seacoast of Northern New England. Hence, these particular stones are considered to be "Hot Bones of the Earth" because they each carry vibrant and harmonizing healing powers that are transferred to the body through Hot Stone Massage.

    Francesca Ciani is a Professional Massage Therapist in Portsmouth New Hampshire. She graduated from The Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, New Mexico (now known as The Santa Fe School of Massage), in 2006, and today she is licensed in the states of New Hampshire and Florida. She is further certified for Cranial Sacral therapy, Tui Na Energy bodywork, and Therapeutic Qigong instruction. Francesca is also an intuitive body worker that is committed to the well being of her clients.
