Recommended to wear loose comfortable clothes with few buttons, pockets, or zippers during treatment. This type of massage is light to medium pressure, yet provides an invigorating therapeutic effect by balancing the flow patterns of Qi energy and blood circulation throughout the body, to support internal organs, tendons, bones, and glands. Tui Na massage has been used in China for more than 2,000 years, and it carries the same underlying principles as Acupuncture treatment. Rhythmic compression and acupressure techniques are used to stimulate and harmonize Qi flow patterns within the energy channels, known as meridian channels, of the body.
